HOMESCHOOLING at Disneyland!!

Woohoo!! In just one week from today, homeschoolers from all over will be at the Grand Californian! We are so excited - this is a conference with exhibitors, curriculum vendors, lots of fun activities, etc. ONE WEEK! This has been a long year planning, can you tell we're excited??

People can still buy conference tickets to take in workshops and the exhibit hall, dance tickets are available for teens, and there is a talent show for the whole family.

I think that sounds amazing! As a educator in training, I am always interested in learning new techniqes, and what a fun place to do it at!

That sounds fun. I have considered homeschooling because it sure would be a lot cheaper than the private school I have them in now. Only three years left. The thought of having time to get more done in a day (than a typical school) and be able to travel is very appealing, but I was just never sure I had it in me. I think if we did homeschool we would be finding lot of educational reasons to go to DLR. Have fun at your convention!

We are there the 15th-20th and will be staying at GC. I plan on stopping by the conference to see what it is all about. Overall, I don't think the parks will be impacted greatly because non-homeschoolers are going to be back in school and September is not a huge time for family vacations because of this. I think we will be fine. I think Fri and Sat will be busy, but that is usual on weekends.
