I know this isn't anything Disney related but, I was planning to go to homecoming with a boy if he said yes, but unfortunately he said no. I still like him even though he is going with another girl. I was going to go with a group of friends but then they all suddenly got dates to go with. I still wanna go but unless I have a date or a bunch of friends to go with my parents won't let me. How do I persuade them?

Hmm. Tough. Maybe tell your parents you won't be alone, try to hang out with some friends even if they have dates. I'm fairly sure at least one or two friends wouldn't mind if you tag along for a bit at a time. Sorry of that was completely unhelpful, I'm not too good at these things :-/

Don't let the boy ruin it. You're lucky you have a homecoming dance, we don't because people though it was too lame and just care about in my opinion the huge ugly Texas homecoming mum. Tell your parents how much fun you'll have and remind them of past dances you've enjoyed. Good Luck!

Kudos to you for asking the boy. (a little off topic but) I know how hard that can be, I asked a boy to go to prom with me last year and I was crazy nervous. None of my friends thought I would be able to go through with it and ask him (I get bad anxiety). I knew he liked me, but that didn't change the fact that I was nervous. Luckily it went great and I was nervous for no reason, but back to the problem- go you! Of course, stupid boy for saying no. You could always ask a guy friend to be your date?

But if you really want to go solo I don't see why your parents shouldn't let you. Just speak with them and tell them you really want to go! Or you could try to find a group to go with.

Good luck, I hope your parents let you go (:
