It's also alumni weekend, so the campus is going to be packed. haha not looking forward to that, but the game should be fun with tons of people there!

I know a local one around here had it last weekend, but I don't think my brother's high school even has one.

homecoming is a way to get ur school exicted for the coming year in sports. there is a cookout and a dance. The dance is semi-formal.

our homecoming is this weekend too!! the homecoming game is tonight (fri 13th!!) but it is going to be very cold but that's ok bc i have dance rehersal so i'll leave early. The dance is tom night @ 8 and i was going out to eat with my date (just a friend) and other couples before the dance but i don't know if i can bc i have dance rehersal again @ 5-8 so i hope i can leave early. I am sooooo excited though, it will be so much fun!!! we also have a homecoming choir conert on sun too. i'm kinda of mad though bc a lot of the teachers gave homework this weekend-i'll be sooo busy!! i have to write a book report, short story, figure out my complicated math, and read books to get my AR points. But overall i am soooo excited!!

Our sad and pathetic school doesn't have a homecoming...or a football team. The only sports available at our school are baseball, softball, soccer, track and cross country. Nothing else.

We do have a winter carnival though. That is at the end of January or the start of February. We have a spirit week and on Friday, for half of the day, we all go to the gym and compete in various activies against other grade levels. (9-12). Then on Saturday we have a semi-formal dance.

For once, we're atcually having Homecoming...I wonder if anyone is atcually going to go. I have a small school, and dances have been cancelled before because not a lot of tickets were sold.
