Homecoming 2010

Well Homecoming is just around the corner here at my school and I'm sure were not the only one's so any exciting plans, cute suits/tuxs, or dresses . Also there's the homecoming parade, the football game and everything else. Also been asked/ asked anyone you know just all the good stuff. I wasn't excited about homecoming till about an hour ago when I finally asked a good friend to go with me! He goes to another school and normally I'm very guy ask girl etc. but people were telling me that since he goes to another school it's reverse so I just did it and he said yes and was happy and excited . I wasn't even planning on going and now I have a date!!! And darn he is cute! I mean like my mom is always like have fun getting that guy he always has like 4 girls hanging off his arms and now I'm going to homecoming with the sweetest guy I know . Were just going as friends of course but it should be fun .

we have homewcoming week (i.e. monday is college team day, tuesday is superhero day etc...) then on Wednesday we have our homecoming parade then friday is the game against our rival school and our dance...this year it is mardi gras theme (for decorations and stuff no dresses lol)

My homecoming week was last week. We had a spirit day each week with themed dress up (neon day, pj/snuggie day, superhero day since it was the theme, class color day, and school spirit day AKA wear as much green and black as physically possible. We had a pep rally on Friday then the parade and the game when we creamed the other team. Then Saturday was the dance. I went without a boy but with a group of my friends from theatre and my sister. I got to wear a dress that got sparkles on everything and anyone that touched it. And I got to dance with a guy from my group which was amazing then go to an afterparty. Overall best week of high school so far and I totally wish I could go live it all over again

last wek was our homecoming. our school theme was hollywood and movies, our sophmore theme was shrek.

monday: dress ur movie
tuesday: PJ day
wednesday: class color
thurday: twin day/ celeb look a like day
friday: school colors

friday was our game, we won 35-34 against our rivals! saturday morning i went into school early and set up the gym... we had contacted the local movie theater and they donated a bunch of their carboard movie posters, the 3d stand up ones.

Our homecoming is next week!! Im not really all that excited go to though!! i was earlier tonight at our Friday night football game but now im jst like "Eh i dont really want to go." We have spirit week:

Monday- get up and go (wear Pjs)
Tuesday- ESPN day (wear a team jersey or dress like crazy fan.)
Wednesday- class holiday (freshman st.patricks day)
Thurdays- fashion disaster
Friday- RED AND WHITE DAY!! (most people will wear one fo the football boys jersey and then jeans or shorts or something else)

Friday we have a parade(each grade does a float and tehn teachers pick the best) and then at the end of the parade at a local lot in town we have a pep rally and community is invited and then we have the Friday Night Football Game against Chase County and then after the game we have our dance from after the game tell 12.

we had the parade friday afternoon, i walked with the thespians, and we had a blast. friday night we had the big game and saturday night was our dance from 7-10.

This whole past week was homecoming week for me!
Tonight is the dance, the theme is "Destination: Africa" xD
Our days:

Monday - Nerd Day
Tuesday - Character Day
Wednesday - Jazzercise/Aerobics Day (they had this last year and it was so popular they brought it back this year. I love it the best because EVERYONE dresses up for this day haha )
Thursday - Animal Day
Friday - Spirit Day

Ours was like the first or second week of school... It was weird...

Monday- Solid Color Day
Tuesday- Western Day
Wednesday- Nerd Day (they switched it to Wacky day because nerd was "offensive")
Thursday- Tropical Day
Friday- Pony Pride Day (we are the ponies... I know lame name, lame mascot....)

Homecoming in college is different than it is in high school, at least in my college. There's not all the dress-up days, only its more of an excuse for all of the adults (aka over 21)/alumni to drink...

But anyways, it is more of a weekend than a week. On Friday the marching band had pep stuff, where we played at the pep rally, and we went to a local Holiday inn and played at the "alumni headquarters" (you can about imagine how packed it was in there...and how much comments we got)
That was also the time where I almost fell asleep on the bus, and afterwards I was so groggy I called one of my friends who looks like Artie Artie, but that's another story.

On Saturday we have a big parade in the morning, and then it is regular game day schedule. We won our homecoming, and it was pretty exciting A very good game.

our homecoming is weird this year.

two fridays is irish olympics where each grade does a whole bunch of olympic things to win like a trophy, then the game is that night
saturday-dance and after parties
monday-friday is spirit week.

we wouldve had homecoming this week, but thats fall break!

btw: for those of you who don't know me, My name is Patrick, and I'm a junior from New Orleans. I usually don't post over here, because I don't find any of these topics relative to my life, but that's because I'm way more mature than most other teenagers (at least at my school). I'm also kinda new on the whole DIS Boards thing. I'm very active on one of the W.I.S.H. threads though, and I've had my battle with weight. I just wanted to chime in on our school's homecoming. I hope to post on here more often.
