Just to say i finally got home yesterday afternoon. We missed our connecting flight from Madrid to home. The journey was cheap but not one I want to repeat. I will be doing a trip report but I have only done 3 days so far.
The weather was much colder than last year. We will buy thermals!!! I dont think I have ever been so cold but the swing side of that is we kept moving and I have only put on 5 pounds weight. We always eat very well in Disney.
We never made a restaurant offsite but still there is always next time. We did the tour of the Marriot resort and it is lovely. We will try to book it online for next december. The 70 euros of vouchers went in handy too.The parks were quiet on mon,tues, wed, thurs and busy the other days.
My highlight of the trip was taking part in the studios parade. The photos my husband took have me smiling from ear to ear.
We had a great time and everyone was very friendly. Thanks to your advice we tried Planet Hollywood and had a really mega meal. With the added advantage of 20% discount I was very pleased.( book also purchased through advice here.)
I had no problem with the shareholders discount being 15 % the only time it was not given was on L:E: pins which was confirmed when I enquired. We had a great time pin trading and came home with very few of the pins we took. The children had 5 each per day which worked out about right and I had some to help. We filled in loads for our collection and had a grest ime chatting. One of the great pin trading experiences was in the Hotel New York shop where I finally traded with a second C.M. as he really needed a princess heart pin like his collegue had - we had a set of 5 hearts with different princesses. I really think if you take the time to talk and treat people well you will be well treated in return.
The xmas Bavarian fair was just opening as we left and they had loads of stalls. There were lots of food and drink stalls.
My daughter and I went on Panoramagic and the views were out of this world .I will try to load some photos as I was amazed by the views. I can now confirm that it is too quick to be very cold and as you are so busy looking the time passes really quickly.
I have come home with flu so I wont write more. I didnt even make the computer yeatesday. An unheard of event.
