I find it interesting that DVC has the right to increase or decrease the Home resort priority period for any DVC resort as long as it keeps at least a 1 month window for club members to make reservations at their home resort. And in particular, in the Multi-site public offering statement page 13, it states that DVC can make a change "for a given DVC resort." Does that mean it could change the reservation period for some (maybe ones that are not selling so well?) and keep it the same for others? Oh well, Just interesting reading!

The Home Resort priority will always be 11 months and the non-home will always be at least 1 month less (currently it's at 4 months).
The priority could be changed to allow for any changes in reservation habits of the membership and to facilitate the goal of maintaining as high an occupancy rate as possible for each resort. The provision does allow for a change at each resort independently, so a change could be made to encourage reservation at some resorts and not at others.
Unless there is some drastic change in the reservation habits of the membership, I don't foresee the need for any change in the current 11/7 priorities. The provision is certainly there to be utilized, but don't expect changes anytime soon!
