We're thinking about renting a good number of points for an upcoming trip, and really have our hearts set on one of two resorts, so I'd like to rent points from someone with home resort points so that we can book at the 11 month date. I'm finding quite a few people with an adequate number of points, and at one of the resorts we need, but they own at that resort and another, and the number of points they own at the resort we want wouldn't cover what we needed.
So my question is, if someone owned X number of points at resort A and X number of points at resort B, for a total of XX points, could they book a reservation at a cost of XX points at resort A at the 11 month window (even though some of the points to cover it were owned at a different resort)?
