Is it written that Disney has the right to limit at their discretion the ability of

DVC owners use of their points at resorts other than their HOME resort ?

Can you ever see a situation where by this may happen ?

This would definately assist me in making a decision as to which resort I'd choose as my home resort.

Yes, it is possible that the owners at a resort could vote to remove DVC as the managing entity of the resort - which would remove any possibility of using points at another resort.

In reality (and IMHO) , the likelyhood of that happening is EXTREMELY minute and would require a huge effort and expense to reach that point. It is not likely that this would happen at any DVC resort.

There are also other situations where this could occur, but I think the possibility is very remote.

I too doubt you'd see wholesale changes. I could see a change in the home resort window to make one wait longer to reserve non home resort resorts. I think it's also a given there will be some type of limitation as we nears the end of the 2042 resorts. And I could see enough damage at HH or VB possibly from a hurricane or similar to see the resort in question closed and those owners permanently excluded from the system.

Especially since Disney forceably removes anyone standing out in front of the Beach Club trying to get such a petition signed.

Actually any member can get info to the members as a whole. DVC is required to forward any materials not otherwise illegal or inappropriate. One would likely have to pay the postage but that's about it.

Do you really think they would find many BCV owners there? I think they'd find mostly renters who would not be eligible to sign the petition.
