Hey all!
Just a quick check in and update.
Surgery wiped me out more than I thought.
(total abdominal hysterectomy - basically cut hip to hip ughhh)
I can't believe that I thought I'd be better in
a week or two.
So basically, the surgery was a bit more extensive
than they thought, but no cancer
I had to stay there for 5 days and thought
I was going to go stir crazy, so at least I'm home now.
I'm still having trouble just walking to the
kitchen, so it'll be a while before I'll be doing any
distance walking.
The good thing is that I have until March 5th
off from work and after next week I can start
driving again.

I'll check in more often when I'm up to it,
right now I just sleep a lot.

I'm glad to hear everything went well and no C that is wonderful. You will find yourself getting better as each day progresses. You will also have quite a few days where your body will just tell you it's tired. Listen to that and do what you can. You are tough, but take it easy on yourself.

I have my 1st yr. anniversary from my procedure on the 13th. The year flew and I hope yours does too.

Tiger Lily 03- I'm glad your year flew by, I'm hoping
mine will too. I'm nervous about signing up for the
1/2 next year. I'm not sure if there will be enough
time to heal, and train. Maybe I'll join the cheer squad
for next marathon weekend.
