Isn't the support that the Disser's freely and lovingly give to each other wonderful?

Take care both of you. My father had this surgery after a tear in his retina. His doctor did one treatment, that didn't work, so he went back 3 days later for the multiple treatments. He is doing great now. He was up and about in 3 weeks.

For those who are not familiar with this operation, the work on the eye is done and then a gas bubble is inserted into the eyeball to put pressure on the work and hold it in place. Gas/air bubbles rise, so, Kevin will be sitting/laying with his face horizontal to the ground.

They make a special chair that will alow kevin to sit with his face facing the floor. Then you add the multiplane mirror so he can watch TV. Get the bracket for the bed, a donut type thing that supports your face as you sleep.

Kevin & John, it may be a pain, but it will get better. My father is doing great now. Its been 5 years, and he has had no ill effects.:thumbsup2

Kevin...hope you are feeling better and have a full recovery! We look forward to hearing from you again on the podcast soon:)
