Home from POFQ and RPR

We're back home from a lovely haunted honeymoon. We stayed at RPR for 2 nights for Halloween Horror Nights and POFQ for MNSSHP. RPR was beautiful our room was ready right away even though we arrived at 9:30am. We were in Tower 2 Room 2210 but next time I think I'll request Tower 3 or 1 because they are closer to the dock to catch the water taxi. We ate the Latin Quarter and the food was delicious (Not to mention the Pina Coladas made with the Bacardi COCO rum--I had 2 . We also ate at Jimmy Buffet's rest.
On to POFQ...We were in Bulding 2 on the third floor. facing the pool. Room 2337. Our room was very clean and had no problems what so ever with Mousekeeping. The food court is still as good as I remembered it even though we did walk over the Boatwright's for a big meal. Everything was perfect and I am now hooked on the month of October...My husband said he wants to return again!!!! Soooo...here we come Mickey in Oct. 2005

about POFQ? My daughter and her fiancee will be honeymooning there in January. Any tips for must-do romantic activities or spots? How much did you like POFQ?

Hi Disboo,

My DH and I found that the slow stroll we took from POFQ to POR was pretty romantic. After eating dinner at Riverside we took the boat (Surprisingly my DH found that to be romantic) to Downtown Disney for some ice-cream at Ghirardelli (the black and white ice-cream sodas are a must for me every trip). They also have a horse and carriage ride at POR/POFQ. We didn't do this but did pass the carriage on our way to POR. I also loved sitting on the benches by the water....it was so relaxing.
POFQ is my fav. resort. I fell in love with the place the first time I stayed here and I always say I'm going to try some place new but everytime I call to make ressies I can seem to stop POFQ from flowing out of my mouth....maybe next time
