Home Daycare Name?

How about tumbels, tumbling tots, bundles of joy, toys & tots, burps, babies and bonnets, I dont know......I guess I let my wandering mind get the best of me!!

Good luck regardless. My Aunt does this as well, and the rewards can be very handsome but you must be willing to devote yourself, heart, mind, and soul.

I would love to have an in-home daycare but I don't think I am the right kind of person!! I like to go to Target too much!

Maybe once we settle down more and have a bigger house. It would be a good way to make a little extra money.

We have gone to Buttons and Bows, and Blossom child care.
I prefer the name we are at now....Sandite Child Development Center.
Sandite is our school mascot.

I have done in home daycare for 7 years and I love it. Have a good program schedule an excellent contract, give yourself the PAID vacation time you deserve and never give discounts on your fees and you will do great! I don't have a name but I go by Little Green Witches because its my school district mascot, and we are called THe Witches in our sports teams! Look around at your surrondings and it will come to you!!! Good luck:)

Let's see - around where I live I know of a Building Blocks, Kid's R Fun and Littlest Lamb.

I found this link that gives suggestions on "How to name your Daycare".

Just my opinion, but I would immediately rule out any day care with a misspelled word in the name. Including deliberately misspelled words - like C words that are spelled with a K to match your name. I also hate names that imply the kids are bad, even something as mild as "Little Rascals Daycare".

Instead of cutesy names, I like names that imply the kids are growing and learning. I like Sue/Kalamazoo's Bright Beginnings. Good luck with your daycare - it's a tough job but it does have great (non-financial!) benefits. There's nothing like being special to a child.

I'm guessing this was aimed at my suggestion?
whatever.
FWIW the most reputable daycare in our area is called Kiddie Kollege.

Not to be controversial, but do you not shop at Toy's R us because the R is backwards.......really that's the same type of thing. I though it was adorable the someone mentioned Kamp with a K and I'm a mom of three and a home daycare provider myself.

:rotfl: I was going to chime in about the K thing - and it's not aimed at any one poster, because I see at least 4 on this thread who have suggested various C words with Ks substituted.

This is SUCH a pet peeve of mine - just can't stand seeing it in print on a sign!!!

Also, while I'm thinking about it, the word "Academy" gets me going, too. Although there was a local daycare called "The Academy of Spoiled Babies" that I loved - it just sounded like a bunch of older women were loving on your baby all day. It gave off a good vibe. But the "Kiddie Kollege" - not so much.

how bout Kats Brats!! Just kidding, KIDDING!!! Totally kidding all!:lmao:
Maybe Trinas Treasures??
Kat Cares:goodvibes
our local daycares are.........lil harvard, building blocks............TLC............babies are us........the childrens place........

BEST OF LUCK TO U!!;)

It wasn't aimed at any specific suggestion, just MHO.
Yes, I shop at ToysRUs - and I don't especially like their name either ;). Of course, choosing where to buy a toy does not equate with choosing who will teach and care for my child.
I wasn't trying to be controversial either, the OP just asked for opinions and I thought I'd share my thoughts on daycare names.

:goodvibes LOL, we are German and my friend has a bratworst booth at a local fair, her name is Kathi, so its Kats Brats, everyone always thinks its bratty brats as in bad kids but its food!:goodvibes :lmao: :rotfl2: I just had to throw it out there into the mix, funny though......
