We got back from our 3 and a half week trip on Wednesday. We had a brilliant time.

Highs:
Disney's Bay Lake Tower - we bought into DVC last year and this was our first trip home.
The Disney Wonder Cruise - so fabulous that we've booked for The Dream next year
Disney's Wilderness Lodge - tried for the first time and fell in love - so relaxing
The Cheesecake factory - ate there 3 times!
British Airways - flew with them for the first time - very impressed with standard of plane and service.
Being upgraded to club on the flight home - it was an amazing end to the holiday! (I knew that seagull doing his business on me would bring me luck!)

Lows:
Coming home
Trex and Rainforest Cafe - disappointing meals
The Poly - very busy, bustling resort

Already planning for next year having booked our 4 night cruise - can't wait!
:yay:

Sounds as though you had a wonderful time. Congrats on the upgrade too! Great to hear some positives about BA - we have always had a great service touch wood, but all you ever seem to hear are the negatives.

Happy planning for your next trip - it is definitely the only way to attack the post holiday blues :)

OMG - That's awful! I'm a born worrier so that would freak me out.

Glad to be back but the planning is definitely helping to beat the post holiday blues.

YEY We fly next month. What movies did you watch?
What was the food like in CW on the way back?

Welcome back! I really need to try the Cheesecake Factory on my next trip, the pics I've seen look LUSH!! :worship:
I'm also glad to see another positive BA review, as we are flying with them in a few weeks for the first time :thumbsup2
Glad to hear that you're fighting the post-Disney blues in the best possible fashion, by getting your butt back there asap! :goodvibes

Is there any other way?! :rotfl:

Welcome back! I am curious to know why you had the Poly listed as a Low. Was it just because it was so busy? I think it is beautiful - thinking of a split stay there next year.

Really glad to hear you had such a fantastic time:thumbsup2

Once you've been on a DCL you just cant help book another can you:lmao:

Food in Club World was amazing! (Well, compared to any other food I've ever had on a plane)
Had scallops to start served beautifully on china plates.
For main course I had stuffed hake - again beautifully presented and really good.
For dessert I had cheese and biscuits - stilton, brie, chutney, oak cakes and a glass of port.
I do like the Poly - the low for me was that it was so busy there - lots of people waiting for meal ADRs for Ohanas etc.
Can't remember all the films we watched on the plane. I definitely saw:
Date Night
The new Nanny McPhee film
Diary of a Wimpy kid (watched these with my son)
Valentines Day

Welcome back! Glad you had a great time! Cheesecake Factory ROCKS!

I'm not going to look at that BA link as i can tell from reactions it will freak me out . . .

We always say its the one deluxe we would never stay at. Apart from being ugly as sin, its always packed full of people, and has waaaaaaay too many plants - freaks me out thinking of all the bugs they must attract!!!!!!!
