there is always some family relic lying around
it doesn't bother me
with three kids
I have pretty relaxed standards of "clean"
to keep my sanity

DS nixed the gift card idea
because girl.friend said she was buying
an actual gift.

We ended up with a necklace
and those ball beads that go on them

I have a ton of the beads
in many colors
and I wear them most every day to school

DS chose a purple bead
with white smaller ones on the side
and spacers in between.

the beads are balls with tiny crystals all over
we get them at a pricey jewelry store locally

it doesn't bother me
with three kids
I have pretty relaxed standards of "clean"
to keep my sanity

Picked up is usually good enough

We live the same way. I want everyone to feel comfortable, especially after a hard day at school or at work. I have neighbors who have homes that look like museums, nothing out of place, housekeepers daily. I wasn't brought up that way and my kids aren't either.

It is actually a player piano, which is really fun!
