What a nice idea to let each one decorate his/her own tree!
You must have a very festive looking house!

I always wanted a "theme" tree
when I was a kid
we had one tree, with kid ornaments

I always wanted to redo it in a color
or a theme like all snowflakes
but we never had any extra $$ for things llike that....

So now that I have my own house
and a job
I let the kids do whatever they want
have a kid friendly tree
and a theme one
except I am feeling the time pinch this year
so theme maybe a no go

well, now that my hair is mostly dry
I could go into the attic
and pull out more rubbermaid tubs
of decor
and get this house into shape
or mostlyinto shape


here is what will happen
I will go with plans to pull out tubs
notice that the dryer has stopped
put in a new load
fold a load
clean up the sink area from haircoloring
help DD do something
forget why I went upstairs
and come down with out the decoratiosn!

Sounds like me!!!
I can't tell you how many extra trips I make up and down, doing one thing then another and forgetting the original thing!

DD started work at 7 this morning (they asked her to come in at 6 but gave her the option to start later). She is now busy making brownies for dessert tonight.

Do you think you could send her over here when she is done so she can help me with my holiday baking

I've got tickets for DD and me for Martha on Tuesday. We won't be in the live show audience. We have tickets for the 2:00 taping which will be shown another day.
Last week, DD requested her day off be Tuesday and her request was granted. We've been there a number of times and find it enjoyable.

How exciting...will you let me know when the episode is on so I can DVR it
