The small project turning into huge project.....

new countertop......awesome!
cupboard underneath......now too small to support such a large granite top

so......

DH and I have been looking at new "peninsula" "island" cupboards
but when they add in all the fluff, like toe kick, and doors and handles, etc
the price becomes

we have priced in three different stores...all

so today at the home store
DH just bought stuff to make a cupboard....

he is so handy

Mr. Pad is very handy too.........but the question in your edit is always the important one............

I finished my packing today...the only thing left to go into my suitcase is my hairbrush which I will throw in Wednesday morning.

I still need to get our carryon packed. It will hold our plane reading material, sweathshirts, and my Disney folder

I finished charging my camera battery and I just need to put my camera and cell phone in my fanny pack (hopefully I won't forget my cell phone this trip)


Is it Wednesday yet

Your summer trip was good practice for this one. You wouldn't dare forget your phone!

we were supposed to have a foot upon waking up this morning

nothing............

it was very windy though...........kind of a good thing, dried the roads so they wouldn't be too slick

it did start snowing a couple of hours ago...........an inch or two now

will probably have the foot, just in time for work tomorrow........

we get two or three a year
and usually two or three delay days
which are even better, because we don't have to make them up
