Haha....not so much confused as over-educated. I did my undergrad at USC (FIGHT ON!!), I earned my master's at Texas A&M, and now I am doing a 2nd degree accelerated BSN program at Duke. So, I have ties to all these schools, and am a very loyal fan!
As a Duke alum, I wish you the very best. Congratulations on being accepted into one of the finest universities in the world. May all your hopes and dreams come true.
Good for you! Great job! You'll love Duke! Hope you're into basketball and not football We just love beating Duke (almost!) every year (CLemson, that is....hehehehe)...
It's a beautiful campus, too! DD's best friend is there and has loved it. She has had incredible oppotunities.
Congratulations! It's a fabulous school. Duke was one of the schools that I considered for undergrad - until I found out that the women's campus was far away from the men's campus. I'm really old - it hasn't been that way for decades now.
I couldn't fathom going to a college without men nearby. I ended up at Newcomb (RIP Newcomb - it closes for good 7/1/06), but we went to classes with the Tulane boys and the dorms were next door to each other.
I can't agree with you on that USC thing though - I'm a Stanford alum.
I have never evne been to North Carolina, much less Durham , but I hear it is beautiful!
Now I just have to find a place to live in Durham! I want to make sure I don't end up in a seedy area, though. If anyone has any advice, I am all ears!
