Holy Land Experience? Any info?

I have noticed literature for this place but would love to hear feedback from those who have gone.

How much to go?

How much time did it take to see?

We went about three years ago. I don't remember how much it cost to get in. We enjoyed it. It was fairly new when we went and we saw everything in a few hours. I think the Holy Land is larger now so it might take a little longer.

We went about a year ago last August...it was very HOT! There was not much shade and we sweltered. It was very nice and Biblically accurate. It took us about 3 hours but we didn't see everything because of the heat, again it was August...

Also, there is a dress code, they will not allow any imodest clothing (short shorts, bathing suit tops...) and have a right to turn you away, they hand you literature while you are waiting in line to get in.

All in all it was great, and I think it cost around 25-30 PP.

Thanks for the feedback so far, and for the link to their web site, never thought to look for it!

On the site it mentions to come early in the day because they "cap off" attendance at a certain point. Did the place feel crowded to you?

Is there a lot of walking to be done or is it that each attraction/show takes a while to see?

Does anyone know if they actually have worship services ever here?

My parents took Ds in 2002.They liked it but felt as if something was lacking. If I recall a worship service was one of things they said they wished there was. They found the actors to be very rude most of the time. That said they also mentioned they would like to try it one more time to see if maybe they were just there on a bad day.

Given the outside appearance, the theme park does not seem to be large, so I would guess that the walking won't be as extensive as a day in a WDW park.
