Not that great of a 4th of July up here at the lake.. Rain yesterday, raining off and on today.. Tomorrow we "might" get lucky and just have cloudy skies instead.. There was a small window last night when it wasn't raining, so we quick built a campfire.. Lasted about 45 minutes and it started raining again.. Right now my son-in-law is over to the next town with my DGD - waiting to see if they are going to have the parade or not.. Tonight is supposed to be the fireworks show, but who knows? All depends on the weather..

Definitely a 4th of July where the focus is more on the "reason" than the activities..

Absolutely gorgeous here on the Cape, finally! Tomorrow's forecast is for the same. Beaches are packed so I came home early but I can enjoy this kind of weather anywhere!

We saw some sun today for a very short time. It's raining now. No surprise. We are all wondering if the fireworks are going to take place. Guess we will put on raincoats and take a ride down. This is getting depressing.
