Has anyone checked out the menu and prices for Tutto Italia, the sit down in Italy!?!?

My goodness. All I can say is I hope the food is super deliciouso at those prices.

We dined in the Italy sit down several years ago and thought it to be tasty and a decent value.

Just my humble opinion, of course, but the menu itself is just "ehh."

My mom and I ate here on Tuesday. We werent on the dining plan, and since it was a last minute trip, we didnt have any ADR's. Every day that we wanted a sit down meal, we would just call Disney Dining and get a place to eat at the park we were at.

Tuesday we decided that we were hungry and wanted lunch in a sit down resturant, they had tons of openings here so we snagged an ADR.

I have never eaten in Italy before, so I have no comparison to the old resturant here. The place inside was beautiful. They looked to be very overstaffed. We ordered the lasagna and Bucatini. They were delicious!! We were impressed with the bread too! The waitstaff was wonderful!! There was a manager (someone in a suit) that even came by to see if our bread was okay! He then came back to check on our lunches.

I got up to use the restroom, and while walking back I passed him, he came up and passed by me to get to my chair before I did to pull it out for me!

I thought it was well worth the money, and definatley worth the dining plan if they take it, as they didnt take the DDE card.

I agree, CRAZY PRICES, even $4.50 for a soda @ lunch! Better use free dining or this one is OFF the list!

Soda is actually $3.00, which is still steep. Great if your on the ddp imo. Linda

$12 for a canoli! Mama Mia, I can get a box of them from a good Italian bakery in my neighborhood for that price!

Wow, those prices are crazy!! Of course I haven't tried the restaurant yet so my opinion doesn't really matter. :)

No way would I ever pay those prices. You could eat at almost any other place in Epcot cheaper than that.:scared1:

The menu prices look more attractive to those on the DDP than those paying OOP. If they really want that much for the food, I can't imagine they would accept 1 TS credit for long. Without a lot of OOP diners, 1 TS just won't bring in enough money for a restaurant that thinks their food warrants the price. They'll need to either lower the prices or require 2 TS credits. The latter is more likely. As it is now, it's a great deal for 1 TS credit on DDP.

I've been to other restaurants this group owns/operates in California and they are excellent. While I always appreciate upgraded food, I can't see paying fine dining prices when we will more than likely be hot, sweaty and covered in park grime, as will other diners. When I pay that kind of money for a meal, I'm looking for a different experience.

Hi,
We are just back, a few hours ago, from out most recent trip and we had dinner at Tutto last night. We used dinning plan credits but the service and quality of food was not on par with the prices.

They are charging Il Mulino prices and the service and food are not in the same league.

I'm glad you had a good dining experience:) I'm dissappointed to read that they don't take the DDE card. At these prices, I will definately not be trying them out. Not sure what I would do if on the dining plan:confused3 I just don't find the menu that exciting.

They took our DDE card last night for the items that were not covered by the DDP. They said that they have only been open for two weeks and to us it showed.

I'm a bit confused. It sounds like for $40.00 you get enough food for 3 or 4 people. I know that is high, but it doesn't seem any higher than Biergarten or some of the rest.

Is the price for lunch $39.99 for EACH adult?

That would be really outrageous!!!

I'm reading it that way. $39.99 for EACH adult. That just seems insane.

Just made ADR for next week. We will be using the plan and it is one credit. So I am not upset about the price. Otherwise, we would not eat there. Would be too expensive for us if we were not on the plan and we stay away from using two credits for one meal. Looking forward to trying to the food. I feel like we have nothing to loose!

Looking at the menu, it looks like they offer a fixed price meal with a per person cost, or you can order a la carte. Since I don't get the dining plan, I'll be waiting for a few more reports before I decide if it's worth the price.

And that's WITHOUT chicken. I don't think so! :lmao:

That's the one that really made me go :scared: as well. The entrees are around $25 which is not too bad, but the appetizers are very expensive and gosh, I want to know what's so special about that $16 chicken-less ceasar salad.:lmao:
