DW and I went over to Epcot today and didn't really have a plan for anything, but just wanted to be in Disney and man it was crowded! We made a lap around the world showcase and walked over to see what the line for TT was and then headed out. Test Track was a 90 minute wait and Soarin' was 110. Definitely too crowded for us townies! lol

We totally forgot it was a long weekend this weekend and that would probably make all the parks a little busier than normal.

My Guess -

It's the "Who Dats" from Louisiana....

Seems like everyone I know is either snow skiing or going to WDW this week....

We have Mardi Gras on Tuesday... Kids are out of school till next Wednesday with our public schools...private schools are out sometimes for the whole week...

(PLus President's Day)

Yeah....Rose and crown Pub line was looong

Took us 15-20 min to get into La Cava de Tequila.

OMGoodness! What a change a few days makes! We were just there on Wednesday (the 10th) and it was walk-ons all morning.

I couldn't believe how everything went from quiet and calm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then suddenly Friday morning at our hotel was craziness! But after reading JDucky's list, it starts to make sense.

Also, the Disney Magic cruise ship was delayed at Castaway Cay and will not be returning to Port Canaveral until Sunday. It was supposed to be in Port on Saturday, so of course there is a whole group of people who arrived on Saturday planning to get on the Magic for this week's cruise.

Disney gave each one of those passengers a free pass to Epcot on Saturday. So, if every cruise passenger took them up on that offer, there would have been about 2,600 extra people running around Epcot on Saturday.

Yea, we were watching the local news last night and they said that and I was like hmmm that could have been some of it too.
