What a game UNI won! I was shopping in Cedar Falls/Waterloo today and the game is what everyone was talking about. I'm glad they played a great game and beat #1 KU. Nothing against KU, I'm just cheering for the home team. I'm actually a Hawkeye fan

^^ Oh, as a Buffalo native I know how he feels. I've been a sports fan all of my life and my teams in their respective sports have won their championship a grand total of four times. Considering I'm 38 years old and I have five favorite teams, that's not saying much!

I could double that number if I followed lacrosse, but alas, I do not.

Fellow Hawkeye fan here! I'm incredibly happy for UNI though, I have a lot of friends that go there. They're definitely out celebrating tonight!

Hubby came home right at the end of the UNI Kansas game and said that he was talking with a buddy who said that the last perfect bracket just was broken (on ESPN). Something about 48 years since that last big upset like this.

I live 15 minutes north of Cedar Falls. I don't follow basketball much, but so glad they won.

I felt so sorry for that poor boy who could not get off the floor to stop crying. When he left, he pulled his jersey over his face and kept crying. That's a lot of pressure.

That happens every year.... and I always feel so bad for the losing team. The one I remember the most was when Adam Morrison from Gonzaga was crying after they lost to UCLA back in 2006. He got criticism for it, and I was aggravated by those people. Showing raw emotion is a good thing! And it's not up to me to decide what is cry-worthy and what isn't.

These guys put their hearts and souls into this. Of course they cry!
