Holy Airline Prices Batman!!!

Looking at air out of PA - November 15th - $700 plus per person RT - outrageous!! Looks like we're gonna be making the LONG drive...that is unless you all have some tips I am missing!!!

SWA out of Philly is only $304 pp RT if you don't mind an afternoon flight Saturday 11/15 (which will still get you there before your car would) then a late Friday night return on 11/28.


If you decide to fly into Sanford, I would call Happy Limo instead of renting a car. This would be more economical for a long stay and you won't have to waste time dropping off the rental later.

Also when searching for low fares, I always enter 1 passenger. Sometimes there's cheaper fares but maybe only 2 or 3 seats remaining at that price. So if you enter 5 or 6, it will bump all of you up to the next higher fare bucket. Many times I have booked 1 or 2 of us at the lower rate, then a 2nd res with the higher rate.
