Hollywood & Vine?

Hi, everyone! I'm trying to decide if I should make an ADR at Hollywood & Vine for character breakfast. My kids love the Disney Junior characters. Do Jake, Oso, etc, walk around Hollywood Studios or is the character meals the only way to meet them? TIA!

I have never seen them outside of Hollywood and Vine, but my girls were just out of age-range from being fans, so I may be wrong. We love the restaurant though, have breakfast there almost every trip.

Hi, last July '12 DD6 met Jake in Animation courtyard, next to the entrance for Disney Junior-Live on Stage.

We also did the Hollywood & Vine character lunch. In July '12 the characters were Jake, Oso, Handy Many & June. We will be eating here again this July as Jake is DD7 favorite Pirate.

They are often in the animation courtyard, but if you want to save time and make sure you get the interaction, book the meal. H&V isn't the best as far as food but if it will make your child happy, it might be the best option.

We love the breakfast at H&V, was just there last week. Its so much fun for the kids. It is the only place you can meet June, Oso and Manny. I know you can still meet Jake in the courtyard by playhouse Disney show. The food is better for breakfast than lunch.

We did it last year for the first time and my daughter loved it. Just made reservations to go again during our October trip. I would say if your kids love the Disney Junior characters it is a must do. I was a little hesitant after I made the reservations and then hesitated because I read some negative reviews about the food, but we didn't have any complaints about it.

I would also say it's a must do. Even though you may get to see the characters outside if the restaurant, the atmosphere and character interaction at H&V is wonderful!! They really get the kids involved with singing and dancing. In the time we were there we saw 3 or 4 different skits starring different characters. Definitely worth a try!!
