What characters have been at the lunch? Wondering about Handy Manny...
Did you like the lunch? It's between this and 50's Prime Time.

We did Hollywood & Vine for lunch with a 4 & 5 year old. Lots of fun. We saw JoJo Goliath, June and Leo, they danced with my kids and had a good time.

We did lunch there - food was okay but the character interaction with Jojo, goliath, Leo and June was great!

BTW - Handy Manny does meet and greets in DHS.

Yes, we will definitely find Handy Manny for a meet n greet, he'll be on the top of the list. I was just hoping for him at lunch...

We did lunch last visit. DH and I did not care for the food. I felt the buffet was very limited. I found the cold cuts and sandwich bread too late otherwise, I would have skipped the hot food and just made a sandwich.

We would have prefered 50's Primetime.

HOWEVER, my DS4 this was the highlight of his vacation! He has the biggest crush on June and she made such a fuss over him. He has a photo of the two of them on his nightstand

The character interaction is very good. Jojo held my infant son and played with him for 10 mins.

For us it was a bust, for DS4 priceless!

Now I'm thinking about cancelling my ADR for lunch at Hollywood & Vine in a few weeks. If the food is that bad then I would rather eat elsewhere with my family. Anyone have insight into the breakfast? Maybe I could switch lunch for breakfast? Is it the same characters for breakfast and lunch?

I think I am leaning toward 50's. If closer to time (Dec) (yes I am planning early!) there is any change in characters, my kids might vote for Hollywood. We really had a good meal and a good time at 50's. They liked having a milkshake and the waitress yelling at Dad about his elbows on the table!

It's the same characters for lunch and breakfast. We have done both because my kids love the character interaction there. I thought lunch was hands down probably one of the worst meals based on food. Breakfast is fine- nothing exciting but not disgusting either. Lunch for us bordered on disgusting food. But seriously it is one of the highlights of any trip with kids who love playhouse disney and some things are worth it.

I just found the lunch bland and not a huge selection.

I think breakfast is the typical WDW buffet breakfast, how can they screw that up?

Yes, it's the same characters at breakfast as lunch.
