Hollywood & Vine Dinner Buffet

Can someone let me know if I made the right choice? I originally had PS at Primetime Cafe but wanted to really do a Fant. package so we don't have to do the usual 1+hour plus wait...I have 2 children, ages 8 & 3...

I just made PS for H&V Fantasmic Package for Monday 7/14 at 6pm?

-Is the food good?
-Good selection for food..both adult and children?
-Where is the restaurant located in MGM?
-How does the F. Seating arrangement work?
-Will we be able to still see the 5:30pm parade at MGM?

We did the F!DP at H&V on our last trip. We were a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children (ages 3, 7,7, & 9).

It was without a doubt one of our favorites.

The food choices were many and varied with a complete kids' buffet (hot dogs, mac &cheese, etc) and a dessert bar in addition to the regular buffet.

We all LOVED it!

How does the seating for the Fantasmic show work? Our reservations are at 6pm (the latest I could get)...Fantasmic show is at 9pm.....do we get a voucher to present? Do we need to get there by a certain time?

We are doing H&V with the Fantasmic package next week. I here the food is great! I'd like to know a little about the atmosphere though. We've seen Fantasmic before and always love it. I just hope that the pre Fant. experience will be great too.

we did the package at H&V last year and were very pleased. The food was good and the service was also very good. After you eat , you are given a voucher for the seating at Fantasmic. It is a different entrance than the regular park goers use. It will tell you to arrive about 30min early. You will have some time to enjoy other attractions after dinner and before the show. It's one of our favorite things.
