How is it? Fun? Entertaining? Food?

The write up is pretty vague and a lot of reviews seem to be for when it was different characters. Hmmm

Thanks!
Stacey

My family went last January and loved it. OSO is one of my DS (6 years old) favorite characters, so he loved it. It is really the standard breakfast food, but the experience was a nice break in the late morning. Even my 10 year old DD liked it and the restaurant was only 1/2 filled so we really had a lot of one on one time with the characters.

We went for lunch, but I assume the character interaction was the same. Handy Manny, Oso, Leo and June. It was cute, they got the kids out in the middle of the resturant and dance twice while we were there. The characters all came by our table twice and DS5, really got a kick out of Leo because he was acting like he was going to eat some out our food. If we ever did it again, we'd try breakfast since none of us cared for the lunch. But on that trip (this past Janurary) we'd already had 2 other character breakfasts, so we did lunch for this one.

Great interaction with characters... music, dancing, table greetings, autographs, lots of pictures.... fun place. Also, tends to not be crowded either...which is nice! Lunch is OK... I prefer breakfast (standard but good breakfast food)... there are better places to eat lunch at Hollywood Studios (Sci Fi Diner and 50s Prime Time). Do NOT go to dinner -- no characters.

Read our review of Hollywood and Vine!

We did it in January, and enjoyed it. The breakfast was fairly standard, although they did have a make your own breakfast burrito section, which I kinda have a thing for so loved that part! ! The characters were good, it wasn't very busy so they kept coming over, we eventually had to ignore them or else we would never get finished eating. We booked it again for our upcoming trip.

We had the same problem!!! I did find time to squeeze in eating but did not have time to take pictures of the food for my review. This was the best character meal with the most interaction. DS loved it 2 years in a row.

I'll guess that most people in the morning are either not at Hollywood Studios yet or are busy running to the rides and attractions. Breakfast at Hollywood and Vine works great for us 2 ways.

When HS opens at 9am, go to H&V at 8am and be done before the park opens. When HS has morning magic hours 8am-9am, go at 9am. We will have already rode Toy Story and got fast passes for a later ride; by the time we are done breakfast at 10am, it's time to get another set of fast passes.

This is great to hear, our ressie is actually at 10AM but I figure we can get in a bit of park time, probably ride Star Tours and get FPs for TSMM. Then after breakfast getting a new set of FPs for something else.
