Hollywood&Vine, Biergarten, & Sci-Fi Dine-in...

Never ate at Germany as the food just isn't for us. (Good beer though)

Brown Derby - Had a nice dinner here (it's 2 credits). The main room gets a bit noisy so if you can ask for the back bamboo room.

Sci-Fi - We always grab a lunch here when we tour MGM (I can't call it DS). 1. It's neat having the "drive-in" feel. 2. It's always nice and cool inside so it feels great after being in the sun all morning. I think it's perfect for lunch or a snack and shake

Hollywood&Vine--one of two Disney restaurants we will NEVER step foot in again
Biergarten--one of our favorites. We do it every other year (and only because there are places we still want to try)
Sci-Fi--we enjoyed it when the kids were younger...it's probably been about 10 years since we've been there and we understand the menu has changed and is very limited now

I haven't eaten at Biergarten (have ADRs for 2009 though) or Sci Fi. I can offer my opinion on Hollywood and Vine: never again. Food wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't good - mediocre. Atmosphere was awful. Service, however, was good. Also, we went for dinner, so there were no characters. If you're looking for a place to eat at HS, I would look elsewhere.

We love Biergarten! It's a buffet with some nice German food and other options that are pretty much pleasing to everyone. My kids are not adventurous eaters, but liked the spatzle, for example.

You sit at picnic style tables with other families. We've always been seated with others with children approximately the same age as ours. The German band plays on the stage and they encourage the kids to come down and dance. It's so much fun! It's always included on our ADR list!

Biergarten is very good and fun! Hollywood& Vine is nothing special..we will never eat there again.

Hmmm well we have ADR for Hollywood&Vine, maybe we'll change it to 50's prime time!

50's Prime Time is a great choice! Great food and if you get a server that's into it it can be a lot of fun! Biergarten is really good - my favorite TS in the World Showcase so far. Sci-Fi is great too! Wish I was picking out restaurants for a trip now!

Never hear good about H & V
Never ate at Biergarten but heard all good
Now Si -Fi as far as dinner was always a must do until they changed there menu. And after our last visit 2 years ago we what a waste of money in my opinion and we loved this place .

H&V dinner was the worst, the food was terrible and the service was severly lacking.

Beirgarten is fantastic (there are a ton of buffet shots in my March link). Always yummy food and great atmosphere, fun dancing and a live band.

We've been to the Biergarten twice. My parents have gone at least 3 times. It's great German food. Lots of meat selections, and real german sides. Many salad selections that have macaroni and veggies in them. The show is pretty good too. Gotta love the polka!

The beer selections are awesome. Go for the liter. It's the better buy! And to top things off...there are great dessert selections. The bavarian cheese cake is phenominal.

I will caution though... If you're not in to sausages, wursts, and german food like that...then this restraurant isn't for you. Check out the menus and what's available to see if it's meant to be.

The food at Sci-Fi isn't anything special, but we LOVE the atmosphere! It's a great lunch spot, and a relaxing, cool getaway from the hot sun outside.

I've only been to sci-fi, and although the food's not great I think it's a must try at least once as the theming is great. Stick to simpler foods (I think lunch offers more standard fare - burgers, sandwiches) and you should enjoy it.

We've only been to Sci-Fi. The atmosphere is great but the food is just so so and I think pricey for what you get. I think the food at Prime Time Cafe is much better. It depends on if you want good food or atmosphere.
