Hollywood & Vine at 4:00 and Parade

I have been calling every day for a while and finnaly a seating opened up for the Fantasmic Package for 11/20. We were able to get a 4:00 seating. The parade is at 3:30. Will we be able to see the parade and make it to Hollywood and Vine on time? Do you really have to be there 10 minutes early to pick up the vouchers and check in aat the podium? Thanks!

You could watch the parade from the corner of Hollywood and Vine, the restaurant is just a few steps away. Send someone to checkin. They will ask you if your party is all there, just point, (have them wave) and say yes. Then ask how long. You might have to miss part of the parade if they can seat you right away.

You could keep calling and ask for a later reservation.

We watched the parade from the walkway between Indy and Star Tours, which is right on the beginning of the route. This was at 5pm and we had ADRs for 5.30. As soon as the parade passed, we were able to head to H&V (the parade goes the other way round the lake) and were seated by 5.20 - hope that puts your mind at rest

If you think you may be cutting it close, make sure you are on the correct side of the parade otherwise you may get stuck having to cross over with lots of people coming at you. We had to do this once and it wasn't a pleasant experience.
