I have been hearing that most of the rides at Hollywood Studios are not open? Does anyone know about this. This is are first family vacation down there and I was hoping everything would be open. We will be down there next week.

To be honest, I have no idea what you are talking about, and wherever you heard it, it is certainly not true. If you could elaborate then maybe we can give you more information.

We got back on the 18th and they closed Back Lot Studio Tour while we were there (we got on it the 12th, not the 16th as it was closed by then). It was the only one we saw that was closed.

isn't there a place on the Disney website that give that info. I think if you go to the specific park's page there is a place where you can get closure info.

The only ride scheduled to be closed during your trip (at DHS) is the Backlot Tour. I think someone was teasing you!

Also, Sounds Dangerous is only open seasonally. But most people say it's lame anyway. I haven't seen it, myself.
