Where to eat at Hollywood Studio's? Last time we ate at Mama Melrose and were pleased...but I would like to try something new this time.

I've been wondering the same darn thing!!! I think I have a good idea of where to go for our other park days, but this one is a stumper!!!!

We tried H&V, thought it was okay, but it normally gets awful reviews.

Next we tried Sci-Fi, once was more than enough there for me.

What's left...Mama Melrose (you liked it, but we're already eating Italian elsewhere)...50's Prime Time Cafe...Hollywood Brown Derby (2 TS)

Any other TS I'm not thinking of???

OP, I had a great idea (IMHO) of taking the boat from HS to the Beach Club resort to eat at Cape May Cafe, but we consider Fantasmic! a must-see, and if we wait till after, it'll be too late for us. Maybe it would work for you? There's another thread on the 1st page talking about it right now, and it looks/sounds AWESOME!!!

Your situation so different than ours....we have been going with fam of 5....(at last visit) DH, me, DS16, DD15, DD14.

We liked H & V due to Teen's picky and (then) vegetarian.

Your suggestion of BC is interesting...but you'll find Cape May Cafe similar to H & V.....same Roast, Potatoes, etc.....more seafood though....

Which makes me suggest YC.....Captains Grille or Yachtsmans .....

Both would offer TS dining but not take 2 TS.....a good meal but not the 'same old" H & V, Sci Fi, Etc...

Just a thought....then of course you have Boardwalk....Same situation.....

I like Sci Fi for the atmosphere. The food is basic, the hamburgers are decent.

We also usually have great meals at Prime time.

On my last visit to Sci Fi (September 08) I thought it was fantastic. Our server was great, the food was really good and we had a great time. I will go back there for sure.

Prime Time is another favorite of ours, I think some of their food is really good...the pot roast especially! I'd do either PTC or Sci Fi. I think they're both good, and the atmosphere is really fun.

I think if you go to Sci-Fi with the expectation that you are eating at a "drive-in" and are being served by car hops you will have a great time. The burgers and shakes are also pretty good.

we eat at 50s PT every time we go and love it. the atmosphere, the food, the CMs all are wonderful. i recommend it!

50's is our first choice. We absolutely love it- the food is great and the atmosphere is the best

Another vote for 50's PTC. We had good service and great food.
