Hollywood Studios worth it during re-do?

We have been to WDW 2 times in the past 3 years during which we visited all the parks. My daughter is at the age where she is interested in different cultures and I would like to do 2 days Epcot and 2 days MK. Doing that means we would need to either cut AK or HS. Wondering if HS is worth going to while so much has been closed and is being re-done. Shes not into Star Wars so...thoughts???? Thank you!

Just as a point of order, not much has actually been closed at DHS.

Yep, not a ton of stuff is closed...and the things that did shut down were less popular anyway. The big ticket stuff is all still there...ToT, RnR, TSMM, Movie Ride, Beauty and The Beast, Journey of the Little Mermaid, Star Tours, etc.... If those interest her, then it's still worth going.

We ended up doing just a half day at the Studios. Perhaps, if you have park hoppers you can do half day each at Studios and Animal Kingdom.

We plan on rope drop, walking to Beaches and Cream, afternoon break then back for early evening and fireworks dessert party.

We spent a day and a half at DHS and still missed two shows and several of M&Gs. We'll definitely plan two days next time.

Thank you! I think I was trying to justify skipping it, but we will do it! Thinking about adding a day or two on the trip so that will help!

Every visitor is different, but we would never intentionally skip HS. The vast majority of attractions are still open, so it's very much like it was. The addition of the Star Wars stuff, and the Frozen Sing along are great as well.

I DO wish they would swap Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones for new shows though. They are both great (the first 2-3 times), but we have totally lost interest in them now after our sixth visit.
