Hollywood Studios with little ones

Do you feel that you need a FP for Disney Jr live?
You should not need a FP+ for Disney Jr Live as there are multiple shows in a day:

Sometimes it is tough to fit in all the DHS shows because of the start times.

Approximate show & ride durations:
  • Great Movie Ride : 34 minutes
  • The Frozen Sing Along : 30 minutes
  • The Indiana Jones Stunt show : 30 minutes
  • Fantasmic! : 30 minutes
  • Beauty and the Beast : 25 minutes
  • Disney Junior Live : 24 minutes
  • Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple : 20 Minutes
  • Muppet Vision 3-D : 17 minutes
  • Voyage of the Little Mermaid : 17 minutes
  • Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Away : 18 minutes

I was there when my son was 3 (just turned 3). He was with his girl cousins who were 2 and 4.

It was a fun day, but that was when the park was all about Frozen and not Star Wars.

I just came back from a trip where we only spent a half day there just to do the Star Wars stuff .. since we had recently gone 18 months ago, there really wasn't anything else to do there for my son.

Frankly there isn't much to do at DHS .. there is even less to do for preschoolers.

What can you do?

TSMM - the best ride there for kids of all ages - hands down. The problem is the line is so long you can really only do it once.
Disney Junior (a great show for kids, and frankly "wasted" in a park like DHS).
Muppets - a fun 3d show
Little Mermaid Show
Frozen Sing-along.

and meet characters .. that's about it. There are a ton of characters at DHS (because they are "filler" since they don' thave many attractions).

Though with how the crowds are at DHS (since they aren't distributed) .. that could EASILY fill a day.

My son this last trip (4) was scared to death of the Launch bay. Dark, creepy music and larger than life characters were just too much for his imagination despite liking all these SAME characters in toys, shows and games. He about just ran out of the building when a Jawa approached him.

Is the toddler a girl or boy? If the toddler is a girl then i think Frozen sing along is a MUST do and you could also do BATB or Little Mermaid. We prefer Little Mermaid.

The little boy would LOVE Toy Story mania and probably like the Star Wars stuff as well. He might also really like rockin' roller coaster depending on his appetite.

We also really enjoy fantasmic, but it's not an absolute must do for us.
Toddler is a girl and absolutely loves Frozen so that's going on the list thank you!

Thank you- we have to be very aware of surroundings as DGS is on the autism spectrum so I'll make a note of that.
