Hi,
Our plan for Hollywood Studios can only fit 2 or maybe 3 of these shows into our day because of the way the show times are scheduled and our other plans for that park. I've never seen any of these shows but thought they all sounded good. Which do you think are must-do's and which are skippable? It will be me, my husband, and our daughter (6) and son (4). Daughter is the biggest Star Wars fan but both kids would like all of the characters for each of these so just trying to figure out which are the best shows.

Thanks!

Disney Junior Live on Stage
Frozen Sing-Along
Beauty and the Beast
Star Wars - A Galaxy Far Far Away
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Definitely not Disney Junior. It's awesome but only until about 4.

We didn't love Little Mermaid, but we love frozen sing-a-long and beauty and the beast. I'm just starting planning so I have no idea about Star Wars show.

Definitely Star Wars. Followed by Frozen. Then toss up between little mermaid and beauty and the beast. Little mermaid show is good, should just be longer. BatB show is more a park broadway type show, but a little long in my book. Neither are bad though

My Suggetions:
Disney Junior Live on Stage
Frozen Sing-Along
Beauty and the Beast

Haven't been too:
Star Wars - A Galaxy Far Far Away

100% skippable
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Definitely Star Wars and Frozen Sing-a-long, then if time we enjoy Beauty and the Beast more than Little Mermaid.

Where have I been? What is the Star Wars- A Galaxy Far Away?

This is the stage show they do during the day on the stage in front of the Great Movie Ride. It's not that elaborate, but has some of the characters coming out and such.

My votes are for Little Mermaid and Frozen as the best shows to see.

Good to know about the ages for Disney Junior! I think we will skip this one for sure, thanks.

Another great show that you shouldn't miss is DHS evening show...fastasmic! It's one of my favorites and screams out Disney.

Note that the Frozen Sing-Along, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Disney Junior Live, Muppet Vision 3-D and Path of the Jedi are in indoor theaters.
Beauty & the Beast, Indiana Jones and Fantasmic are in outdoor theaters.
Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away and the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular are outdoor shows (where you are standing).

Indoor (air conditioned) shows are nice when it is hot and humid.
Seated shows are nice when you are tired of walking or standing.

A little story:
I personally did not like the Frozen movie. I did not plan to see the Frozen Sing-Along (and had not seen it previously). But during a very hot and humid afternoon where I had been in the park since rope drop, I thought I might be able to cool down (and take a nap) during the Frozen show. I was pleasantly surprised how good (and funny) the Frozen Sing-Along show was. I did end up taking a short nap later during Path of the Jedi. It can be tough to stay in a park from rope drop to closing without some rest. The Frozen Sing-Along is now a must do for future visits to DHS. (There are shows in other parks where I sometimes I take a nap - Hall of Presidents, The American Adventure, Carousel of Progress)

My grown daughter talked me into going to the Voyage of the Little mermaid, and it was wonderful. It was a strange mix of animated and real performances. I surprised at how beautiful the voice was of the little mermaid. It was short, but sweet, and I will always make this a must do while at HS. I also love Beauty and the Beast (going to see the film today:)
