We're going to the parks for a very short trip in mid-August. We'll have a Sunday at Hollywood Studios and only want to do 3 things:
Slinky Dog Dash (SDD)
Tower of Terror (ToT)
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (MMRR)

Wouldn't mind adding Rocking Rollercoaster but it's not required. We'd love to get a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance, but we're not lucky people, so not counting on it.

We'll be rope dropping, which I assume means getting there before park open - how long before, an hour? 30 minutes?

What ride should we run to first? We're two adults, so we can move pretty fast. Is it smartest to start with SDD? At 20 minutes after park open today, SDD had a 100 minute wait time, while MMRR was 60 minutes and ToT was 50. Should I start with MMRR, then hit ToT, then SDD? Or SDD (risk a long wait), then MMRR, then ToT, maybe picking up Rocking?

We need to avoid high heat and sun for medical reasons, so we generally leaving any park around noon/1pm to head back to the hotel. Is there any chance we can get those three done before things get too hot?

Getting a boarding group has nothing to do with luck… We are 7 for 7 at 7:00 am following the instructions you can easily find online. Just make sure you are using a phone with a fast processsor and your operating system is up to date. Then hit join, then join, then join again beginning at 6:59:58. Do not read each page, just click. Best to use wifi.

SDD will have the longest wait times throughout the day, go there first. MMRR usually has short wait times during the day, leave it to last. You will be doing some park crossing but I would go to Tower, then RnRC…

If you can walk to the park that will be an advantage at rope drop. We Uber/Lyft to Swan and Dolphin, then walk to arrive at the gates about 75 minutes prior to park opening. Regardless of when they let you in that should get you very near the front of the pack… In April we were the very first to arrive at SDD, and we did not have to hurry, just a nice pace…

Best of luck regardless of the plan you choose.
