We will be at HS 10/6. We are hoping to go to the fantasmic show in the PM. I am looking for a good restaurant to go to. I haven't seen alot of good dinner options with Character Dining. We have 2 girls, age 7 and 4.

Any suggestions...we want Table Svc for sure. Is there any restaurant that we can get to easily on the monorail or ferry that might be quick? Sorry...I haven't gotten to looking at all the transport stuff yet!

There are no restaurants in DHS that has characters at dinner. Hollywood and Vine is a buffet that has Disney Playhouse characters at breakfast and lunch only.

Cape May at the Beach Club has characters only at breakfast as well.

Akershus in Epcot's World Showcase has princesses at all meals, but you will need a parkhopper to enter Epcot if you've already been at DHS that day.

The monorail does not go to DHS. There is a Friendship boat that connects DHS, the Epcot resorts and Epcot. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes to get from DHS to Epcot, but you'll need to add in wait time if you just miss the boat.

If your question about the monorail and ferry is in relation to the Magic Kingdom and the MK resorts and character dinners at those locations then there are character dinners at Crystal Palace (MK), Cinderella's Royal Table (princesses, MK), Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort), 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian). CRT is TS, the other three are buffets. From the MK you can walk to CR or take the monorail or the resort launch (not the ferry) to CR or GF.

***Oh wow! That is good to know. That is def way too much hassle w/2 kiddos on the last day of an exhausting trip!

***This is such good info! Thank you SO much :) I went ahead and booked at the Italian restaurant (Mama....something) at DHS to keep it simple. Thanks again!
