Hey everyone,

My GF and I are going to do a park hoping day at Hollywood Studios (Rope Drop) in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon on Wednesday July 26th. We are pretty set on doing Epcot in the afternoon so we can enjoy the world show case at night, but we need help deciding what park to make our fast pass reservations for as we keep flip flopping back and forth. These are the attractions we are interested in:

Hollywood Studios: The Great Movie Ride, Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours, and Toy Story Midway Mania

Epcot: Test Track, Soarin', Spaceship Earth (If we have time), Gran Fiesta Tour.

We were originally going to make our fast passes for Epcot since it was in the afternoon but we'd only get to pick one from Test Track and Soarin', we wouldn't be that tore up if we didn't get to ride Spaceship Earth, and Gran Fiesta Tour probably won't require a fast pass. Because of all this, I think it makes more sense to make them at Hollywood Studios in the morning. For us, Epcot is more about touring and drinking around the worlds.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would go with DHS. At Epcot, you'd be able to use a fast pass for either TT or Soarin' (like you said) but then your other two would essentially be wasted. Spaceship Earth should not be a long wait. My wife and I use that ride as our "digestion ride" after we stuff ourselves in the world showcase.

At DHS, you could pick from RnRC, TSMM, and GMR for your first FP then use the other two on Star Tours and ToT. You'd then rope drop whatever you didn't pick from RnRC, TSMM, and GMR. That seems like the best strategy to me.

Agree with the above. We love EPCOT, but will be doing our FP's in the other parks on our next trip.

Epcot is awesome but it jus my seems that the way that the tiers are set up you are going to waste a fastpass or two

For Studios you can pre-book TSMM and ToT. Head straight to RNRC when the park opens.

When you enter the FP line for your Studios FP#1, go onto the app and book Fp#3 for Soarin' or Test Track.

The steps for booking FPs when Park Hopping are in the FP FAQ Addendum - it's linked in mesaboy2's Signature.

Did they change the rule on FP? Are you able to book the first three in separate parks now? I thought you had to use the 3 in one park first before you could schedule any more (one by one) in another park. We haven't had hoppers since FP+ was rolled out, so I haven't paid much attention.

*edit* Nevermimd! I just saw the link you posted and that explains it all. Thanks.

This is what I would do

FP starting around 10- 10:30 RNR, TOT and star tours

RD TSMM and then do great movie ride

do FP rides

when you are done with tapping your band on the list ride look and see of you can get a FP for soaring or TT ( and make sure you have enough time to get there ) if not single rider line will be your best friend for TT ( if you do not want to do this then you will have to pick the one with the shorter line and just wait then do the other ride. grand firth tour never has a long line so this will be a walk on anytime space ship earth normally has a 30 minute or so wait.

another option that you could try is going during illumination if you do not want to see. them or during EMH if they are in the evening for TT and soaring
