Hollywood Studios big announcement?

Maybe I have been out of the loop for awhile, but wasn't there a rumor going around on this board as well as other blog sites that there was supposed to be a huge announcement for HS? Surely it wasn't the May the 4th be with you or the 24 hour day that's happening in May. This was mentioned about a month ago and everyone was speculating it either be about Cars or Star Wars land. Have I missed the announcement?

24 Hours isn't at DHS, just MK in WDW.
I saw something about a "big May announcement", but I don't remember it being DHS specific, so it could very well have been the Monstrous Summer announcement.

It was the Monsterous Summer announcement, and didn't have anything really to do with DHS.

The rumors were just that - rumors. There were no park-shattering announcements.

This seems reasonable. We're close enough to the Expo, and if people are going to pay, they want to be the first to know something new and big.
