Hollywood studios 25th anniversary

We found out about special merchandise available on May 1st for the 25th anniversary but do we know if they are planning anything special for that day at the park? I am pretty excited about the shirt and the I was there pin they will have as well as the annual pass holder exclusive.

I am hoping they will be doing some sort of event that day.

I have to think that they at least do something special to mark a special anniversary like 25 years.

The only thing I have seen so far is the Silver Anniversary fireworks show that night.

Reports are that it will be the biggest ever at DHS.

I would also "think" there will be Commemorative Guide Maps,Times Guides,Cupcakes,etc.

Also with the Media Event happening April 30-May 2,I don't think it is out of the question for Star Wars Land to be announced that day-not likely,but you never know-it would be the perfect time.

It is just the annual Media Event where invited Media are shown the newest things and told about things to come.

They have special events for them-for example,several Fantasyland attractions are closing at 6:00 PM May 1 for one of their private events.

I was wondering the same thing. I plan to be there as well. Even if the celebration is small, it will be fun to just be there on that day.

Disney did a great job for DHS' 25th-I hope they do a lot for Typhoon Lagoon as well.
