Hollywood Studio TS recs

Any recommendations on a good TS meal in Hollywood Studios? I've been trying every day for Sci-Fi with no luck This is the only meal DH requested and we decided only to do HS once this go around.

If you're trying for dinner, try getting one for lunch as the menu doesn't change much (I've always enjoyed Sci-Fi for lunch). Otherwise, HS has one of the better table service restaurants in WDW - the Brown Derby.

try for either lunch or dinner (be flexible with times!) at sci-fi (keep trying!), 50s prime time and brown derby

We're spending the first half of the day at Animal Kingdom and then back for a nap...So we'll book for Brown Derby and keep trying for Sci-Fi Hopefully, something will come up for dinner!

I think a really good fall-back would be 50's Prime Time. The food there was quite good - our group had meatloaf and the fried chicken (and the dessert S'mores are HUGE). The theming was excellent - we recognized an ice bucket we'd inherited from DH's grandmother and my mother recognized curtains that her sister had in her house in the late 50's! And our "mom" Maryann was a hoot.

I ABSOLUTELY love Sci-Fi Dinner Theater. I'm a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (if you don't know what this show it, go to wikipedia), and most of the movies they show trailers for have been on MST3K before.

We always go to Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose at HS. We once ate a Sci Fi Diner and we didn't like it.

If you are still un able to get an ADR for Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time Cafe would be a great 2nd option for you.
