Hollywood studio tours

DH and I are planning on doing the various studio tours when we go to Hollywood next year and I was wondering if anyone knows how far in advance you can book the tours? As we are coming from the UK and touring different parts of So Cal and Las Vegas the trip needs a fair bit of planning so I already know when we want to do the various tours but figured now was too early to book (I would check the websites but most say you have to phone to book and I don't want to be making long distance calls if it is too early!!) We were planning on doing Paramount, Warner Bros and Sony (I already know when we can book the universal one.)

The Warner Bros tour is the best. We saw lots of celebrities, and got to walk around sound stages!!

IMO, three studio tours might be a bit much. I would suggest trying to see a taping of a television show. There should be plenty of shows taping in August. We've done this three times and it has been a lot of fun. audiences unlimited has a great site where you can order FREE tickets. Just a suggestion.
