A few months ago I copied the following from a post:

"At MGM, 3 of us usually grab a seat for Fantasmic about an hour before it starts(sometimes 1.5 hours depending on crowds), and 3 of us get in 3 different lines across from the entrance for different things. 2 of us share a turkey leg and some fries, 1 child gets chicken nuggets, 1 gets a hamburger, and 2 oldest daughters get a baked potato and something else"

I don't understand it. On Deb's menu site it lists something called Hollywood Hills Theatre and has a counter service menu for refreshments not the kind of food described above. Is the info from this post outdated? Is there a theatre for the Fantasmic show? Is there a food court there or not?

We were last at WDW 9 yrs ago so bear w/ me. I don't remember anything called Fantasmic back then.

sign me "confused"

I think Fantasmic started in 1998. It is in an outdoor, stadium-style amphitheater. The food stands are outside the theater, there are several selling different items (that's why they were in 3 different lines). The counter service inside the theater sells snacks like popcorn, etc. You can buy food outside the theater and take it inside to eat while you wait.

The stands outside the theater are Catalina Eddie's (pizza, salad), Rosie's all-american cafe (burgers, chicken strips, salads, soup), Toluca legs turkey Co (turkey legs, hot dogs, baked potatoes), Fairfax fries, Anaheim produce, and Hollywood scoops (ice cream). Now I'm really hungry!

georgina ~ Thanks for this very thorough and easy to understand reply. It all makes sense now.
