Hollywood Brown Derby DVC Discount

I am still trying to decide whether I want to purchase the TIW card for our upcoming trips. I'm doing a lot of comparing of the TiW discounts and the DVC discounts. I see on the member website that HBD gives a 10% discount, but other sites don't show it. I guess the member website is the one to believe, but if they don't, it will be enough to make a difference on whether or not I should buy TiIW. Does anyone know for sure if they give the DVC discount?

This is one of the sites I was referring to. If you notice, HBD does not list a DVC discount. Here's another one that says it might have been removed.

Yes, like I said I see it on the member website, but I'm just wondering if it had been removed and the list had just not been updated. I'm just wondering how reliable the member website is. In fact, the downloaded extras you posted show a discount for HBD breakfast, but the member website does not. Besides that inconsistency, I don't think that HBD even serves breakfast.

Since the website differs from the PDF on the same website, it would be interesting to see what they say. I think only actual experience at the restaurant will effectively answer the question.

I would print out the DVC website perk page showing the discount, before you leave and if the waiter questions the discount, hand it over.

BTW, DVC discount does not cover alcoholic beverages, but TIW does. Also the TIW card is good for 13 month, so for us we often get 2 or more trips on one card.

I just got off the phone with MS. After a long hold, she came back on and said that there is indeed a 10% discount for lunch and dinner. She never answered why the downloadable flyer stated a discount for breakfast when there is no breakfast served there. I think it would be a good idea to take a printout with me just in case.

DenLo, we understand the discount is not good on alcoholic beverages. For us, that does not matter. We do not drink alcohol.
