Hollywood Brown Derby dinner @ ??? - Fantasmic 7:30 pm

I was wondering if I could get some advice on how early we should go for dinner, if we are planning on going to Fantasmic @ 7:30 p.m. I have read that you need to be there up to one hour before the show.

We are going in late October, and I have called twice, and I can not get the Dinner Package, since there are none left for the day that we will be going to see Fantasmic.

We currently have an ADR for 5:20 pm - the other option is 4:25 pm - are we cutting it too close with the 5:20 reservation and get some seats for the Fantasmic show?

I would get the 4:25 p.m. one just because I've read that the service there can be very slow. If you're getting multiple courses, too, you need to allow more time for a meal than if you're just getting entrees and dessert.

I'm always for being able to eat leisurely and actually enjoy your food instead of something happening, like getting seated late, leaving you frequently checking the time and being more concerned with Fantasmic than what's on your plate.
