I had the pork chop for Christmas dinner and would have enjoyed it more if there weren't service issues that day. That form of service issue solved for all time (rushed) but the taste needs to be wiped away with another holiday meal.
The dessert trio made us happy when it included the grapefruit cake and some sort of
flavoured brûlée. I didn't care for the berry cobbler but DGD did and gobbled it up.
We ate there the first time as walk ins but were dressed fine for the place: the man wore a polo shirt and cargo shorts, I wore my anytime travel uniform of a t shirt dress and we didn't look out of place. I also wore the biggest straw hat you ever saw but I just count that as a statement jewelry substitute and pay nooo attention to the man's sighs. If he doesn't know me by now- well we all know the rest.
