Hollywood and Vine Play and Dine - Breakfast or Lunch? Park opening early?

I was able to get an 8:00 ADR for the Play and Dine breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. Have heard they sometimes open HS early which would negate benefit of getting there early. However, if we get a Fast Pass for Toy Story when we book them ahead 60 days out will we be okay? Any recommendations?

You'll be fine. Even if they open the gates earlier than scheduled, it's never more than 15 minutes or so. We had an 8am H&V ADR in November and were finished at 9am. We had a TSMM FP+ for later in the morning so we headed towards Star Tours and were able to get on with no wait, then swung back towards the front for the Great Movie Ride (no wait) while waiting for our TSMM FP+ became active.
