Can we have dinner at Hollywood and Vine and NOT be a part of the Fantasmic dinner package? We've seen the show enough and don't have any desire to see it again. But when I look online to book ressies it states it's part of the package. Anyone know?:confused3

Yes you can. But why would you want to? Sorry. That was just my very biased anti H&V opinion showing.:sad2:

When making your reservation, make sure that you have selected 'restaurant' and NOT 'dining event' under the 'Make a Reservation' heading.

Actually not my choice! We're traveling with another family and this was their choice for restaurant on that day. Having said that, I've never eaten there before. We always eat at Brown Derby if we eat at DHS at all. Is it that bad?!:scared1:

Don't be scared to try Hollywood & Vine. I was reluctant because of all the bad reviews but I liked the food. I found it was not much different from the other buffets.

OK. Thanks for the reassurance. We'll give it shot!:goodvibes

Everybody has their own taste in food. Just because some people hate it does not mean that everybody will. That being said my family and I are in the hate it category. Places I like: 'Ohana, Cape May, Liberty Tree, Teppen Edo, Cafe Marrakesh, Coral Reef, Boma. Places I hate: Hollywood and Vine. Give or take: Chef Mickey's.

The food was awful tasting. The selection was poor. The service was adequate. The deserts were bad. It was noisy (and I am used to a house full of kids running around all day). No one in my party of 8 enjoyed it. There were not even any characters. At least if you are going to serve food that bad have the decency to have Chip and Dale walking around. I mean Chip and Dale are everywhere. We came back to our room one night and Chip and Dale were laying on the beds eating my Goofy Candy Co rice crispy treats. :lmao:

Seriously though, for a non character buffet it has no redeeming qualities.
