Hollywood and vine dinner vs lunch

We have two reservations for H and V. One for Minnie's Spring time dine. The other for Disney Jr Lunch. This is the firs time (other than at the resort) we will have eaten at the same restaurant twice on the same trip. It was more about characters than anything else. Had a meal to fill and thought might as well eat lunch with characters as opposed to not.

However, I am now wondering about the menus. Are they much different? I tried looking at official menus, but can't really find much about the spring time dine.

Are they drastically different experiences or will they be pretty similar?

What date are you looking at? H&V lunch is switching from Disney Jr to Minnie's. Last I heard, the switch will happen in the beginning of Sept.

We will be there next month. I don't know the date off the top of my head, but it's either the 11th or the 12th.

Can you elaborate please? Are the Disney Jr characters at lunch being replaced with the normal dinner time characters?

To the OP....we did both lunch and dinner at H&V last year. A lot of the buffet items were the same, a few were different. But there was enough variety that I didn't feel that I had to eat the same items again. The lobster mac n' cheese and pretzel rolls are very good.

Beginning in Sept, the Disney Jr Lunch will be replaced by Minnie's seasonal dining. The Disney Jr Characters will still be available at breakfast.
