My dh and I decided to take our dd(2) and ds(5) here for breafast the day we are visiting the park. Not knowing we each went online and got reservations so we now have one for 9am and one for 9:15am on a 9am park opening day.

I guess my first question is which one do we keep because i would really like to get over to TSM and get fast passes. I don't want to wait till after breakfast is over since it may be a time way out in the afternoon.

Will they let us into the park early with a 9:15 reservation? My DH can wait in the park as close as he can get to the ride and at 9 am walk over and get the passes while i check into breakfast?

Any help would be great....this is the first time i am doing a char breakfast instead of being at the gates for park opening.

is there a reservation available for 8 or 8:15?? that's your best bet. eat quick and get in line to get to TSM!! if not, you may want to keep the 9:15, get there at open and grab fast passes, then go eat.

No there is nothing available before 9...I tried for one in the 8am hour and got nothing.

It seems H&V is not open until 9:00.

Keep the 9:15. At park opening, have one adult wait by H&V until 9:10 and then check in. The other adult goes to get the fast passes as fast as possible. This person should be back with them by the time your table is ready.

strange :confused3 i ate there at 8:15 in the middle of november.

Same here. And they had a separate waiting aread for the H&V diners who wanted Fast Passes. We merged with the rest of the people waiting but I ended up in the front of the mass.

I would keep the 9am one because then they will let you into the park early so you can get there. You can check in and then one of you can get in like for rope drop...or shortly after... and run for the FP and come back to eat calmly. Otherwise, I'd try for an ADR around 10am so you are not feeling so rushed...especially with little kids.

Will they let us into the park early w the 9:15 res? Or would they expect you to wait outside till the turnstiles open before rope drop?

ok one last question...if i keep the 9:15 will they seat me and the kids and my dh can jion us after he gets the passes?

They will need everyone to be together. That's how EVERY meal was during our long stay last month.

So if you have an 8 AM res at a 9 AM park opening you get in early to the park to eat and then what if you are done by 8:45, do you have to go out of the park? Or what if you get done right at 9 when park opens, can you just leave restaurant and head towards rides?

Ugh, I have been trying for months to book a breakfast here! I've talked to several CM's over the phone and they all say that HS opens at 9am for Feb. and March. They seemed just as baffled as I was yet couldn't attribute the change in hours to anything they knew of. Apparently it's switching back to regular (8am) breakfast after March. So weird.
