Hi! We will be in Epcot on 11/27 for our 2nd Epcot day....doing Future World the 1st day. It is the first night of CP and we are doing the CP dining package and really want to immerse ourselves in the Christmas spirit by seeing the storytellers.

Is the schedule of the appearances posted in advance? It's the first night. Don't want to be running back and forth in the World Showcase. I saw the one from last year, but wasn't sure if it pretty much stays the same.

Thank you!!

I would think it will be similar. It is not really possible to do them in order without some backtracking due to their schedules. At least in past years that has been the case.

Here is the lineup from The Mouse for Less website, though it probably is based on last year's lineup.

Holiday Storytellers at World Showcase
Storytellers appear in each country’s pavilion throughout the day. Check the times guide for a daily schedule.

Canada: The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs will take guests on a musical journey across the Great White North, exploring unique holiday traditions from the various regions of Canada.

United Kingdom: Father Christmas tells tales of Christmas past dating back to 15th century England.

France: Pere Noel awaits your visit as he unfolds magic of Christmas with a letter from a child.

Morocco: Journey through the seasons of holidays. In Morocco, celebrations are “the spice of life.”

Japan: Daruma vendor tells the story of the Daruma doll and the Japanese customs of the New Year.

American Adventure: Discover the connection of today’s Hanukkah tradition and the story of the brave Maccabees and the lamp that burned miraculously for eight days or, experience the spirit of Kwanzaa, a celebration of family, creativity and community. Plus, don’t miss the Voices of Liberty Dickens Carolers. This outstanding a cappella group brings in the holidays with a special repertoire of holiday songs. See Santa info below.

Italy: La Befana is Italy’s good Christmas witch. She comes down the chimney of the little bambinos (children) and leaves them treats. La Befana remembers the Epiphany and her first Christmas 2,000 years ago.

Germany: Listen as Helga tells the story of the first Christmas tree and the tale of her first Nutcracker.

China: Enjoy the Chinese Lion Dance, which brings good fortune during the celebrations of Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival.

Norway: Sigrid, a beautiful farm girl, will give you all details of celebrating Christmas in Norway, and tell you of the mischievous Julenissen, or Christmas Gnome. Be forewarned though, Julenissen has been known to play a little trick or two on the storyteller herself.

Mexico: Celebrate with mariachis and dances with a holiday fiesta. Share in the music, dance and traditions of the season.

The exact appearance schedule in each country will be listed on the weekly "times guide" card you get were the park maps are distributed as you enter the park, and most store counters have them too near the registers. Most acts do not change from year to year, but now and then there is a change. It would be hard to cover more than a handful of them in one visit, since a lot of the appearance times overlap or are clear across the showcase.

In the past we've allowed two or three days to see them all. Most of them are really interesting, we especially like UK, France, Italy, and Norway.

Thank you both very much for your help. We are going to try to fit in as many as possible. Can't wait!

As stated earlier it is very difficult to get more than 2 or 3 in a row with out backtracking. Some start early like 11:15am and then end around 5:00pm. Others start later like around 2:00pm and end around 8:00pm. In years past it was fairly easy to knock out Canada, UK and France in about and hour. Pick which ones you would really like to see and concentrate on them and then do the others if you can fit them into your schedule.

We are doing the same thing. Which show are you and where are you eating?

We are eating lunch at biergarten and we are doing the 6:45 show. We won't enter Epcot til around 12...it's our one day to sleep in with so many 8 am rope drops that week!

We have been to Disney many times, but have never done the holidays at Epcot, so I'm super excited. I want to take it all in, but it sounds like it will be difficult.

How about you?

We have the 8:15 pm show with dinner at Chefs. The storytellers are great. Not sure if it starts at 11 am or 11:30 am so you might want to get there a little earlier than anticipated to try to get to as many as you can. The spots are marked so you can tell where they are but there really isn't seating. Go early before each one you want to see to possibly find a bench or some place to sit. I think they were 15-20 minutes each if I remember correctly from a few years ago.

Thank you! I've heard good things about those. I found that one of the planning websites has the schedule listed for this year. I'm not sure how accurate it is, so I'm waiting until we are closer to see if more websites post it.

Thank you, I will definitely take a look! I agree that Norway starting at 2:15 is really hard. My kids and dh think I am insane as I was sitting with a spreadsheet this morning trying to figure it all out. They won't think I'm so insane when they aren't sprinting from UK to Germany!!
